How are wrestling festivals selected for schwingen-live.ch?

We want to offer wrestling sport comprehensively and year-round. This includes all crown festivals as well as selected regional festivals – preferably attractive ones at various dates – also in indoor venues. We work together with interested TV stations to realize joint broadcasts. Unfortunately, this has not been possible with SRF so far, which is why we are not allowed to show sub-association and mountain festivals as well as federal events.

What does access to schwingen-live.ch cost?

Most content on the video portal is paid. This is how we finance the offering. Individual content such as highlights, pairing best-of, or the forum are freely accessible. We offer the following options for paid content:

Wrestling Festival: The price for a single festival is CHF 10. Access can be purchased before, during, or after the wrestling festival and is available immediately and for at least one year. Access includes the TV live broadcast, live streams of individual wrestling arenas, real-time data, and all recordings. Individual pairings from this wrestling festival can also be accessed.
Wrestler Monthly Subscription: The subscription provides access to all content on schwingen-live.ch. It costs CHF 16 per month from the booking date. Payment is automatically triggered monthly. Cancellation is possible at any time without notice at the end of a monthly period.
Wrestler Annual Subscription: The subscription provides access to all content on schwingen-live.ch. It costs CHF 168 per year from the booking date (CHF 14/month). Payment is automatically triggered annually. Cancellation is possible at any time without notice at the end of an annual period.

I want access. How can I register?

At the top of the navigation bar under "Register" (Desktop) or in the menu under "Register" (Mobile), you create your access. For this, we need the following information from you: first name, last name, email address, and a password of your choice. You will log in in the future with your email address and chosen password. After clicking the terms and conditions agreement, click "Register". You will receive an email at your provided email address within the next few minutes. It contains a verification link that you click. This completes the registration.

I am already registered, how do I log in?

At the top of the navigation bar under "Login" (Desktop) or in the menu under "Login" (Mobile), enter your email address and password and click "Login". Here you enter the email address you used during registration and the password you provided during registration and click "Login".

I forgot my password, what can I do?

Click "Reset password" below the login. Enter the email address you registered with. Click "Send reset link". You will receive an email with a link – click on it. You will be taken to the page where you can set your password anew.

I am already logged in, how do I buy access?

There are two options for purchasing access:

Via a wrestling festival: Click on a future or past wrestling festival for which you want access. Then choose from the three options: Wrestling Festival, Wrestler Monthly Subscription, or Wrestler Annual Subscription (you can find the explanation of the three options here) and click the corresponding button "Buy Wrestling Festival" or "Buy Subscription". You will then be directed to payment.
Via the "Order Subscription" page: Scroll down here and choose from the Wrestler Monthly Subscription or Wrestler Annual Subscription by clicking the corresponding "Buy Subscription" button.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Our payment service Saldiapay accepts Twint, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

How secure is the payment?

We work with the Swiss payment solution Saldiapay. Payments are checked according to the strictest security measures and guarantee the highest security standard with integrated fraud prevention. Information about data protection with Saldiapay can be found here.

The payment doesn't work. What's the reason?

An unaccepted payment can have various reasons depending on the payment method. The most common reasons are the following:

Card not enabled for online payments: Allow your card to make online payments in your e-banking. Or choose a different payment method.
Payment method not covered: Load your card, Twint, or bank account with sufficient balance. Or choose a different payment method.
Card expired: Enter the details of your current card. Or choose a different payment method.
Payment method not enabled for recurring subscription payments: Allow your card or in your Twint app to make recurring subscription payments. Or choose a different payment method.

The payment service Saldiapay we use returns an error code for most errors. Enter this into Google and try to understand the reason for the rejected payment. A list of transaction errors can be found here.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Log in to schwingen-live.ch. (You can find the instructions here.) Click on the circle with your initials in the top right and then on "Subscriptions" (Desktop) or on the menu and then on "Subscriptions" (Mobile). Then click on "Details" on the far right of your subscription and then on the "Cancel Subscription" button.

Who is behind the video portal?

The video portal schwingen-live.ch is operated by Swiss Sport TV AG. On the "About Us" page, you can see who we are.

I cannot access the content. What can I do?

Follow these steps in this order:

Make sure you are using a current device and a current browser. We try to support as many older devices and browser versions as possible, but cannot offer this support for many years back.
Make sure your device is connected to the internet. Your internet connection should be stable and have sufficient bandwidth. If you can consume videos and live streams from YouTube with your device, this is given.
Use a smartphone, tablet, or notebook/PC. Do not use a smart TV browser, as these often cause problems with video players.
Make sure you are registered and logged in to the schwingen-live.ch video portal and have purchased access to the relevant festival or have an active Wrestler Monthly Subscription or Wrestler Annual Subscription.
On the day of the wrestling festival: Make sure the wrestling festival has already started and is not yet over. The stated start and especially end times may differ from the actual times. The wrestling festival may end earlier than planned.
On the day of the wrestling festival: There may be a technical malfunction, usually caused by heat, moisture, internet connection, device failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. We try to avoid this whenever possible. If one or more live streams do not function properly during a wrestling festival, you can assume that we have recognized the problem and are working on it. If it is solvable, we will fix it as quickly as possible.
In the two days after the wrestling festival: The recordings and pairings are usually activated on the day or Monday after the wrestling festival. Therefore, wait until Monday evening. The content is activated after the wrestling festival in the following order: 1. Main broadcast and individual arenas, 2. Pairings of individual arenas, 3. Pairings of the main broadcast. The provision of pairings can take several days.
Individual pairings may be missing due to missing video or competition data. This is not a technical malfunction.
